Debbie’s passion is serving the senior community. Her career journey of over 28 years allowed her work beside accomplished mentors to whom she attributes her knowledge. She believes that her experiences led her to finding her “life calling” serving our community in senior care.
She spent the last 15 years in the healthcare path, with the majority of time serving our senior generations as they were in the later seasons of life. She believes in “honoring our elders” and feels passionately that her career journey has been "a calling of the heart and soul."
In her own words, Debbie shares that, “It is where I've been able to step into the world of our seniors and their loved ones, truly understand and connect with those who we advocate for on a daily basis. I’ve learned with every person I encounter that we all teach each other - that life is a precious and fragile gift. I have life stories graciously shared with me by families and patients...they teach me more about life than I can ever express appropriate gratitude. Their stories are full of wisdom and make me a better friend, wife, mother and to serve my community with an open heart. I believe in taking great care to ensure that any family who is referred to me is treated with the best possible care.
I consider it a personal honor and privilege to serve our senior community and their loved ones at this time in their life journey. As the first contact with the family, I must ensure that critical communication is gathered, so that from the moment they request care - their comfort, emotional and spiritual needs are met with the highest level of care and compassion.”
Debbie also has a personal passion to serve our Veteran community. She comes from a long heritage of service, her husband was in the military and then retired from law enforcement, and she currently has two children actively serving in the military. She’s been instrumental in creating Veteran’s programs for two companies she’s worked with. To her, it’s a great honor to serve those who once served our nation and protected our freedom.
MLK was quoted saying: “No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” Debbie strives every day to meet this challenge. She starts each day with the goal of serving our community with the highest level of care she can - but most importantly to show her love for others.
